Chronos-2 Small

27.9 million parameters, adapted locally to Bitcoin returns, candle shape, volume, and volatility.

Capture history in Research first. Training requires 650–20,000 complete candles with recorded volume.

A fixed 128-step local training run. The earliest 60% teaches the model; the next 20% calibrates it; the final 20% measures performance. Training may take several minutes.

Training never activates real orders. The saved checkpoint, dataset identity, parameters and evaluation are exportable together.

LEARNED FORECASTS

The model estimates the next candle’s return and high/low range. Candle bodies, wicks, relative volume and recent trend provide context.

Timely forecasts are issued within two minutes after a new candle begins; that early movement can predate the prediction. They are scored only after the candle closes. Late observations are excluded from these scores. Practice fills are simulated; these results do not approve live trading.

Trading-cost assumptions

100 basis points = 1%. These are assumptions; check your actual Kraken fee tier. Paper fills use the current bid and ask.

Connect Kraken in Settings, then check available CAD, held funds, open orders, and your current fee tier.

Allocate a CAD execution budget

This records a spending allocation; it does not transfer money. Once allocated, losses cannot be erased by resetting the ledger.

ORDER TICKET

Buy or sell Bitcoin.

Choose your price. Any amount that cannot fill immediately is canceled.

After the buy settles, Northstar places a stop for about 98% of your Bitcoin and keeps a small amount for possible fees. Until Kraken confirms that stop, your Bitcoin is unprotected. A sale may happen below your chosen price.

Maximum C$500 per ticket. A 2% fee reserve is held until the actual fill is reconciled. No borrowing.
